It was at this point in his life that Joshua decided that he should “walk the walk” instead of solely “talking the talk” and decided to have a more active role in politics. He was appointed to the National Platform Committee of the Libertarian Party in 2020 and has continued to serve in 2022. He was voted to be a delegate to the Libertarian National Convention 2020 at the Alaska Libertarian Party Convention 2020. As well he has served on the Alaska Libertarian Platform Committee during the term of 2022. He was appointed by the Executive Committee as the IT Director of the Alaska Libertarian Party in 2021. He also is the president of a pro-liberty student organization at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
